Dermal Filler Treatments
Dermal Fillers are made up of a substance called Hyaluronic Acid. This substance is naturally found in our skin and gives our skin hydration and volume. As part of the ageing process our skin looses its elasticity and volume. Thus leading to thinning, and dehydrated skin which further contributes to wrinkle formation. Dermal fillers can be used to restore volume and fullness, thus giving a more youthful appearance. They can also be used to enhance our natural features and contours such as lips, cheeks and many other areas. The duration of results depends on the density and type of filler used as well as the area treated. Ranging from 4-6months for Lip enhancements and 12-18months for Cheek enhancements.

This includes a consultation with our team. Discussion of what you are concerned about and looking for. Then medical history and consent form completion.
Treatment
The procedure lasts 20-30 minutes. Topical local anaesthetic cream is sometimes needed for this and there is very little discomfort as a result of this.
Recovery
The majority of people require no downtime following these procedures and can return to work and normal activities the same day. Some basic post procedure instructions apply.
Result
Results are seen immediately after treatment. Further improvements are seen over the next 7 days as the filler integrates and hydrates the area. Results can be expected to last 6-18 months depending on treatment performed.
