How should we start preparing our beauty treatments for weddings?
6–12 Months Before Wedding
Consultations:
Meet with a board-certified dermatologist or an experienced aesthetic doctor to map out a plan.
Dr Thiara offers a wholesome plan with individual bespoke treatment plans for brides skincare.
Discuss goals (lift, contour, hydration, fine lines, skin tone).
Book initial makeup artist & hairstylist trials to start exploring styles.
Skincare Foundation:
Start medical-grade skincare if not already: vitamin C, daily sunscreen, good light weight moisturiser, cleanser.
Cosmetic doctors can prescribe prescription grade retinol creams. This will help to transform your skin!
In our clinic Dr Thiara and our skin care specialist Harpreet can help guide you after analysing your skin today! They form plans to start to get the skin glowing like chemical exfolation, skin hydration and glow.
Pigmentation clearance - start a prescription grade topical cream to clear with routine check ups.
Consider light chemical peels / microneedling for texture and pigmentation.
Injectables (if needed for first time):
Try neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, etc.) for frown lines, crow’s feet, forehead.
They last ~3–4 months, so starting now lets you test dosage and results.
Dermal fillers (if you want subtle cheek lift, under-eye tear trough support, or lip hydration). Starting early lets swelling settle and avoids surprises.

4–6 Months Before Wedding
Refinements:
Repeat Botox if the first round worked well. This round should carry you through the wedding with a touch-up closer in.
Assess filler results: top-up if needed.
Start skin boosters (Profhilo, Volite, Skinvive, etc.) for deep hydration and collagen stimulation. They take a few weeks to show best effect.
Hair & Makeup:
Second makeup/hair trial — this time with near-final skin tone and texture.

2–3 Months Before Wedding
Final Adjustments:
Last major filler tweaks (e.g., lips, chin, jawline) so there’s time for swelling/bruising to fade.
Skin booster session #2 (if part of your plan).
Gentle laser / IPL for pigmentation or redness if needed.
Brows/Lashes:
Consider lash lift/extension trial or brow shaping/tint.
Smoother, glowing and dewy skin with Profhilo treatment Birmingham
4–6 Weeks Before Wedding
Botox “Final Round”:
This is the sweet spot: enough time to fully settle but not wear off.
Skin Maintenance:
Light hydrafacial or mild peel for glow (not aggressive treatments).
Makeup/Hair Final Trial:
Full bridal look with the dress or a test gown to check balance.
1 Week Before Wedding
Glow Boost Only:
Hydrating facial, LED light therapy, sheet masks at home.
Avoid any new or aggressive treatments (lasers, strong peels, new injectables).
Beauty Prep:
Final brow grooming, lash tint/lift.
Confirm wedding day skincare + makeup products sit well together.
Day Before / Day Of
Hydration, sleep, no alcohol excess, light salt intake.
Ice rollers or under-eye patches morning of.
Trust your glam team.

✅ Key Principles:
Test early: Never try something new close to the wedding.
Layer treatments: Filler → Skin booster → Botox → Facials → Makeup trials.
Buffer time: Always leave 2–4 weeks for healing from injectables before photography.
