The latest trending cosmetic procedures

As an aesthetic practitioner, I have chosen to investigate the most trending cosmetic procedures in today's society. With the increasing pressure to maintain a certain beauty standard, more people are turning to cosmetic treatments to enhance their appearance. As a result, the cosmetic industry is expanding rapidly, and new trends are emerging every day.

We see patients coming and asking for “Russian lips, Pixie nose tip lift, Browlifts and more,” but to analyse the top trending procedures I decided to carry out some research.

To gather reliable information, I analysed various sources such as published research articles, news reports, and industry statistics. My findings revealed that the top five trending cosmetic procedures currently are:

1. Toxin and fillers: As I guessed, in FIRST place, they are the most popular non-surgical treatments, used to reduce wrinkles and fine lines on the face. Anti-wrinkle injections temporarily weaken the muscles activity on expression, whilst fillers can add to the skin's natural volume, boost collagen and skin hydration.

2. Liposuction: This procedure is used to remove stubborn fat pockets from various parts of the body. It involves a surgical process of sucking out the unwanted fat cells using a hollow tube called a cannula.

3. Breast augmentation: Breast enhancement surgery with either saline or silicone implants is becoming increasingly popular among women. The procedure aims to increase the size, shape, and symmetry of the breasts.

4. Rhinoplasty: Also known as nose reshaping surgery, this procedure is done to improve the appearance of the nose, its function, and its overall fit with the face.

5. CoolSculpting: It is a non -surgical alternative to liposuction that uses cold technology to freeze and destroy fat cells in the targeted area. This procedure is gaining popularity due to its minimal downtime and high effectiveness.

Furthermore, statistics indicate that the cosmetic industry is growing exponentially. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, in 2020, Americans spent around $16.5 billion on cosmetic procedures. This growth rate is expected to continue in the coming years as more people become aware of these treatments' benefits.

In conclusion, the most trending cosmetic procedures in today's society are non-surgical treatments such as Botox and fillers, surgical procedures like liposuction, breast augmentation, and rhinoplasty, and non-invasive treatments like CoolSculpting. With the growth of the industry and advancements in technology, it is no surprise that these treatments are gaining popularity among people looking to enhance their physical appearance.
